Toy museum in Sintra is great,
one floor for little girls with dolls houses,
and one for little boys with toy soldiers,
I went with a guest from Trinidade with her 4 year old girl and it was us that were ooing and ahing!

How about a trip to the Marionette Museum
The former 18th century Bernardas Convent houses a lovely collection of over 1,000 puppets, including some dating from the 17th and 18th centuries - knights, princesses, devils, among other characters.
Most are from Portugal, while others came from Italy, New Zealand, Indonesia, India, and China. The museum explains the history of the art form and there are frequent puppet shows, making this an ideal attraction for families.
End your visit at the café.
